How does aluminium compare to stainless steel?
Aluminium is lighter, more cost-effective, and ideal when a painted or anodised finish is desired. Stainless steel is chosen for its natural metallic finish (brushed or mirror). Both are durable and suitable for outdoor use.
Will powder coating fade or chip?
Quality powder coating is extremely durable — it's baked on at high temperature and resists UV, moisture, and impact far better than conventional paint. We use professional spray and powder coat facilities to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish.
Can aluminium letters be illuminated?
Yes. Aluminium letters work beautifully with halo-lit (backlit) illumination, where LEDs cast a glow behind the letter. Face-lit options are also available using an acrylic face with aluminium returns.
What sizes can you produce?
From small 50mm wayfinding letters through to large-format building identification signage over 1 metre tall. We'll advise on the ideal letter depth and material thickness for your size requirements.
